Zebra Label Type Description

Trans Matte 2000™
A bright white, ultra-smooth, matte coated facestock, specially coated for use with Zebra Wax and Wax/Resin ribbons. Its general purpose, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive offers high initial tack and adhesion on corrugated packaging. Suggested applications include: Work In-Progress labels, LOGMARS - HIBC labeling, and packaging labels.

Direct 2000™
A smooth, bright white, direct thermal labelstock which produces high-contrast, black, visible light images. Its all-temperature, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive is excellent for freezer grade materials. The thermal sensitive topcoating ensures maximum printhead life and protects the label from harsh environmental conditions. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose labeling, product identifications, shipping labels, and address labels.

Trans Matte 3000™
A bright white, ultra-smooth, matte coated facestock, specially coated for use with Zebra wax and Wax/resin ribbon. Its all-temperature, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive provides excellent cold temperature performance. Suggested applications include: product identifications, shipping labels, and address labels.

Direct Near I.R. 3000™
A premium, white, topcoated, direct thermal labelstock that produces high-contrast black images with Zebra printers and is scannable in both the visible and "near" infrared ranges (scanning in the 670 - 675 nonometer range). Its general-purpose adhesive is excellent for adhering to a wide variety of surfaces. Suggested applications include: shipping applications, indoor, general purpose labeling, and labeling of most packaging material.

PolyPro 1000™
A matte topcoated, biaxially-oriented, white polyproylene labelstock. Its high-quality, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive and offers superior performance. Suggested applications include: chemical drum labeling, product labeling, and retail applications.

PolyPro 2000™
A matte topcoated, biaxially-oriented, white polypropylene labelstock. Its high-quality, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive offers superior performance, meets FDA 175.105 and is compatible with a wide variety of surfaces and temperature ranges. Suggested applications include: chemical, medical, food and drug labeling, capital asset labeling, labeling of most packaging materials, especially corrugate, plastic, glass and metal.

Z-Ultimate® 3000 White
A topcoated white polyester labelstock with excellent print quality. The high-strength, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive offers superior strength and adhesion for a wide variety of surfaces. Z-Ultimate 3000 White, when printed with Zebra 5095 or 5100 ribbons, is UL Recognized for Indoor and Outdoor use and is CSA Component Acceptable for Heavy Duty Use -- Indoor and Outdoor (UL Recognized when printed using any Zebra printer. CSA Component Acceptable when printed with any Zebra printer except the Zebra Z-221). Suggested applications include: shelf or scan-pallet labels, water-immersed labels, labels in contact with moving parts or friction conveyor drives, and labels exposed to acid or alkali solutions.

Trans Tag 1070™
An uncoated, 7 mil, white, thermal transfer, paper tagstock. It provides excellent ink receptivity and print quality. Suggested applications include: general purpose ticketing, shop floor tracking tickets, retail hang tags, AIAG, LOGMARS and industrial inventory control tags, and labels requiring excellent resistance to oil, alcohol, dirt, blood and water.

Trans Tag 2050™
A premium, smooth coated, 5mil, white, thermal transfer, paper tagstock, specially designed to produce outstanding print quality. Suggested applications include: general purpose ticketing, shop floor tracking tickets, retail hang tags and inventory control tags.

Trans Tag 2070™
A premium, smooth coated, 7.5mil, white, thermal transfer, paper tagstock, specially designed to produce outstanding print quality. Suggested applications include: general purpose ticketing, shop floor tracking tickets, retail hang tags, and inventory control tags.

Direct Tag 2060™
A smooth, 5.3mil, bright white, direct thermal, paper tag, which produces high-contrast, black, visible light, images with thermal printers. Suggested applications include: general purpose ticketing, shop floor tracking tickets, and retail hang tags.

Starter kits
One 50 meter roll of Trans Matte 2000 packaged with one 50 meter roll of 5319 ribbon. This is an ideal package for new users of Zebra printers who are ready to start printing labels.

Value Pack
Zebra's Value Pack consists of three full size rolls of Trans Matte 2000 labels and one full size roll of 5319 wax ribbon. This kit provides a convenient way for customers to order our most popular sizes of labels and ribbons.

Z-Band® 4000 Kit
Z-Band 4000 is a pressure-sensitive wristband made of a topcoated, pearlescent white, polyester material with a high-strength, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive. The Z-Band 4000 kit consists of three full size rolls of Z-Band 4000 and 1 full size roll of 5095 resin ribbon. The Z-Band 4000 is designed to work in Zebra thermal transfer printers. The Z-Band 4000 label and 5095 ribbon combination provide extreme resistance to smearing, abrasion, blood and solvents.

Direct Quick Print 3000™
This premium, smooth, bright white, direct thermal, paper labelstock produces high-contrast, black, visible light images with the Zebra's mobile and desktop direct thermal printers. The thermally-sensitive topcoating increases the battery life of your Zebra mobile printers, ensures maximum printhead life and protects the label from environmental conditions. An all-temperature, permanent adhesive provides premium cold temperature performance and excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose labeling, labeling of most packaging materials, LOGMARS, HIBC labeling, and applications requiring multiple contact scans without image smearing.

PolyPro Direct 1000™
A white, polypropylene, direct thermal labelstock which produces high-contrast images with Zebra's mobile printer line. This material also provides resistance to water and common cleaning solutions.

PolyPro Direct 2000™
A white, polypropylene, direct thermal labelstock which produces high-contrast images with Zebra direct thermal printers such as the PA 400 portable printer. This material also provides excellent resistance to oils, blood, alcohol, water and common industrial cleaning solutions. This facestock is combined with an all-temperature adhesive for cold temperature applications. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose labeling, and labeling of most packaging material and plastic substrates.

Z-Direct Linerless
A direct thermal paper with a specially formulated silicone topcoat that allows for easy release of the permanent acrylic adhesive. Linerless labels provide more labels per roll, lower shipping costs and the need for less inventory. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose labeling, labeling of most packaging material, excellent for cold temperature applications.

Direct I.R. 4000
A smooth, white, direct thermal paper labelstock that produces high-contrast, black, visible light and IR images with Zebra thermal printers. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose labeling, labeling of most packaging material, and cold temperature applications.

Direct Remove 2000™
A bright white, sensitive direct thermal paper label stock with a removable adhesive. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose product and food labeling, applications requiring clean removability of label and shelf labels.

Trans Remove 3000™
Ultra smooth-coated thermal transfer paper with general-purpose removable rubber-based adhesive. Applications include: product identification, shelf, bin, storage labeling and various retail applications.

Direct Remove 3000™
A bright white, highly sensitive direct thermal paper label stock with a removable acrylic adhesive. Suggested applications include: indoor, general purpose product and food labeling, applications requiring clean removability of label, and labeling of most packaging material, including plastic and metal.

Z-Direct Kimdura jewelry label with UV shield
A white, polypropylene, direct thermal label stock that produces high-contrast images with Zebra thermal printers. Provides excellent resistance to ultra violet light. Suggested applications include: jewelry tags and ring labels.

White thermal transfer jewelry label with UV shield
A white, polypropylene, thermal transfer label stock. Provides excellent resistance to ultra violet light. Suggested applications include: jewelry tags and ring labels.

Direct Receipt 2024
An uncoated, direct thermal, receipt paper which produces high-contrast, black images with Zebra thermal printers. This material has resistance to image fading, but is not recommended for applications involving long-term exposure to sunlight or extreme heat. Suggested applications include: retail receipts, car rental receipts and general purpose ticketing.

Direct Receipt 2032
An uncoated, 3.2mil direct thermal, receipt paper which produces high-contrast, black images with Zebra thermal printers. This material has resistance to image fading, but is not recommended for applications involving long-term exposure to sunlight or extreme heat. Suggested applications include: retail receipts, car rental receipts and general purpose ticketing.

Image Lock 5000
Zebra Image Lock 5000 is a glossy white polyolefin thermal transfer label stock that produces black bar codes and human readable fonts. Unmatched durability, solvent resistance, and print quality when used with Image Lock ribbons. Features include: chemical containers, automotive parts, appliance rating plates, and laboratory/life sciences.
