The Zebra 105Se printer is one of the most versatile of Zebra’s value-priced models. It’s a reliable, economical, metal-cased printer that provides high-performance, high-resolution, high-quality printing for a number of applications including:

Wide Range of Print Resolutions
The Zebra 105Se printer offers the widest range of print resolutions, either 152, 203 or 300 dots per inch. The printer comes standard with a 203 dot-per-inch (8 dot/mm) printhead, meeting the broadest range of bar code applications. The optional 152 dot-per-inch (6 dot/mm) printhead accommodates printing UPC and EAN symbols at 100% nominal magnification, a common requirement of many users. If you require higher resolution printing to clearly print more information on the label, the 300 dot-per-inch (12 dot/mm) printhead option is ideal for high-density bar codes, crisp graphics and smaller text sizes.

Fast Throughput for High Productivity
Enhanced 32-bit processing coupled with easy-to-use ZPL II or BAR-ONE WYSIWYG programming offers the ability to format while printing. You print more labels in less time. A full range of communication interfaces are available including high-speed serial RS-232, Centronics parallel and Ethernet, allowing for easy connection to an existing network while maintaining rapid throughput. All this, plus user programmable constant print speeds, make the Zebra 105Se printer the ideal choice for fast, yet economical, label throughput.

Flexible Options Optimize Productivity
If longer or graphically complex labels are required, memory is expandable to a full 1MB (standard on the 300dpi model). An internal rewind feature allows you to wind a full 8 inch (203.2mm) roll of labels within the printer so they remain free from dirt and dust. The backing rewind option, for the peel-off mode, dispenses each label peeled from the liner while neatly storing a full roll of label backing within the printer for easy disposal. The high-performance cutter, operating under software control, cuts full-width labels and tags individually or in strips. An optional reflective sensor is available, in addition to the standard transmissive media sensor. This provides compatibility with applications that require either “black mark” or “web” sensing. For stand-alone applications, the Zebra 105Se printer can be operated using the PC-470 print controller’s keyboard and backlit display.
