VeriFone’s Omni 7000 MPD modular payment device eliminates the guesswork for multi-lane retailers. The terminal offers a full range of payment and communication capabilities for today, while providing a versatile, field-replaceable platform that protects your investment for years to come. The VeriFone Omni 7000 MPD gives you precisely what you need now, without requiring you to pay for extras that won't be needed until later. Many high-quality, user-friendly features come standard on the Omni 7000, including a smart landscape design, large keys, an ATM-style display, and an intuitive "Everest-style" card reader. It features a powerful 32-bit processor, 3MB of memory, and a 3DES and PED compliant PINpad. The VeriFone Omni 7000 has received EMVCo Type Approval Terminal Level 1, based on EMV 4.0 specifications for global smart card acceptance.

Different models can be configured or even tested on a store-by-store-basis. VeriFone protects retailers' investment by allowing the base level Omni 7000 model to be upgraded at purchase or in the field, with any of the following modules:
