The new Ultimate Technology 2800 Series is a fully integrated POS hardware solution designed to ensure retailer's investments are protected. Its modular design and multiple configuration options provide the functionality, reliability and flexibility customers need in today's ever-changing retail environment.

Open architecture
Your investment is protected because the Ultimate Technology 2800 Series has been designed as a truly open system. It utilizes Intel® embedded chip sets to maintain operating system version control. The Ultimate 2800 Series supports applications for Microsoft® Windows® and Linux® operating systems, and offers JavaPOS™ and OPOS device drivers for all system peripherals.

Flexible
The printer and user display can be mounted on either side of the unit to accommodate changing lane configurations. An adjustable arm allows the user display to swing, rotate or tilt for easy positioning. The user display is available with optional touch screen capabilities. The customer display rotates and tilts as well.

Multiple configurations
There are a number of different configurations to fit your retail environment. It is available in thick, thin, and network appliance versions, as well as options for serial, USB and powered USB I/O port configurations.

Easy access
To make it easier to upgrade, support and service, the hard drive, logic module, ports and cables can be easily accessed from the front of the unit. Modules can be quickly exchanged. Front access to all cables makes it convenient to change peripheral connections.

Compact design
The sleek design is about more than contemporary good looks. The 2800 Series is designed to take up less real estate than conventional POS systems. Cables are routed internally to improve appearance, and with an internal power management system, only one power cord is needed.

High performance
The 2800 Series gives you all the processing power you'll need- from Celeron to Pentium 4. System memory can be varied to fit your processing needs, and expansion slots are available.
