ToolWorx has developed a unique end-of-line error proofing system to ensure that any parts being packed and/or sequenced are correct before they are stored/shipped. This system combines the ToolWorx PLC Printer "Smart Printer" with the PTServer enterprise system to eliminate errors before they occur.

The concept is simple:

1. Label parts as they are manufactured with the PLC Printer using signals directly from the PLC
2. Extract shipping label data from a customer's ERP, EDI, or labeling system for variable customer specific label fields or just run standalone
3. Scan the parts into the "Smart Printer" and compare to the correct sequence or just ensure that parts match, etc.
4. Print the container label(s)

That's all there is, and there's no need for any PC's at the line, just a printer. In addition, this system also handles direct part marks using Data Matrix codes. It's the most economical, secure, and easy-to-use system ever developed to ensure that you don't ever get fined or marked down for miss-shipping or mislabeling.
