Symbol MS 2200 scan modules allow easy programming and
configuration, which makes development and production
faster. The MS 2200 scanner features rugged durable housing, exit
window, integrated beeper and interface options, allowing
quick integration of high-performance 1D and 2D bar code
data capture into standalone and OEM applications. The
Symbol MS 2200 barcode scanner offers a standard and a VHD version to read
high-density bar codes. The raster style-pattern of the
scanners provides optimized reading of 2D symbols and poorly
printed linear bar codes.
With a high speed scan rate and IP54 standard seal, ensuring
protection against dust, water, and rough conditions, the
Symbol 2200 series provides both high performance and
durability. Choice of scan triggering, including automatic,
software controlled, or manual, allows for versatility and
personalization.
An easy to program simple serial interface (SSI) provides
users with faster communication between the Symbol 2200
scanner and the host. An optional software development kit
(SDK) enables application creation through Windows 98, 2000,
and XP platforms. The Symbol 2207 supports the 123Scan
utility, allowing for easy installation.
