The Symbol MS 1200 Scanner Series from Motorola are
compact, durable, industrial fixed-mount scanners. For
maximum versatility, the scanners are available in fuzzy
(FZY) versions, featuring fuzzy logic for premium scanning
on 1D bar codes including Reduced Space Symbology (GS1), or wide
angle (WA) versions. Symbol MS 1200 scanners have integrated
features, including immunity to ambient light and durable
design, which help the scanner deliver premium scanning
performance. Symbol MS 1200 scanners offer easy programming
and configuration, which enables a shorter development time
and market release.
The rugged and durable exterior, exit window, LEDs, mounting
holes, integrated beeper and multiple interface options
enable the Symbol MS 1200 scanners to quickly and
confidently integrate high-performance 1D bar code data
capture into many applications. Symbol MS 1200 scanners are
sealed to IP54 standards, protecting against water, dust,
and rough conditions. Triggering of the scanner can be
either automatic, software, or manually controlled, allowing
for more personalization and convenience. An easy to program
simple serial interface (SSI) provides simple connection
between the Symbol scanner and the host.
In addition to the standard production, the MS1207WA
features a wide scan angle (60°) which accommodates wide
barcodes during high-volume scanning applications. Also
included is support for 123Scan utility, which allows for
quick installation time.
