The Symbol MK 1200 micro kiosk from Motorola is a compact
kiosk perfect for retail applications. The depth of
the kiosk is less than 4 in. (10 cm) and it has an
eye-catching 5.7 in. (14.5 cm) - 1/4 VGA display. The Symbol
MK 1200 kiosk allows for four programmable buttons or an optional
touch screen, making it easy for first-time users to
navigate.
The Symbol MK 1200 software development kit (SDK) makes
creation and deployment of applications easy and fast. The
comprehensive SDK includes the Kiosk Software Suite, which
is a fully functional HTML-based demonstration application
with source code. The MK 1200 also has the ability to
perform printing capabilities from a variety of programming
environments, including the browser-based Kiosk Software
Suite, and is able to be connected to a variety of different
printing devices. Device set up and management for large and
small deployments are able to be based from one remote
device with the menu-based configuration. These applications
allow for execution of different tasks from one device.
The Symbol MK1200 supports applications such as digital
signage, bar code scanning and price verification, and is
able to read all common barcodes, allowing you to meet
diverse user demands. An optional magstripe reader allows
for identification and account access. The Symbol MK1200 can
be connected through either a wireless network or Ethernet
connection.

C++ 4.0 SP3.
