lightweight Symbol MC3000 handheld computer operates
efficiently in hot, cold, and dusty conditions. The Symbol
MC3000's rugged design, four foot drop spec, and IP54-rated
sealing ensures efficiency while protecting the computer
against dust, moisture and extreme temperatures. A superior
ergonomic design and flexible configurations facilitate
faster decision making and increased workforce satisfaction
inside the retail store, on the loading dock or on a
delivery route.
The Symbol MC3000 computer offers a variety of feature options,
including one-dimensional (1D) laser and 2D image scanning,
color or monochrome display, batch or wireless
communications, and three different keypad options. The
computer also includes a rotating scan head with left, right
and front positions and multiple keyboard options, which
allow for either 28, 38, or 48 keys.
The Symbol's MC3000 handheld computer features the integrated Windows
CE operating system. The wireless 802.11b/g LAN connectivity
allows for web browsing and real-time data exchange. The
Intel XScale PXA processor allows for high-speed CPU
performance in the Symbol MC3000 computer. The handheld
computer also includes Device management with Mobility
Services Platform (MSP).
