LS3008 rugged scanner delivers superior scanning performance, eliminating
the need for exact aim and positioning, which allows for the
capture of tiny, stacked, and poorly printed bar codes.
Included in this raster pattern is a wide working range from
0 to 19 inches, which enables comfortable, intuitive
scanning. The Symbol LS3008 barcode scanner has the ability to read down to
3mil barcodes. The integrated Liquid Polymer Scan
Technology of the Symbol LS3008 scanner reduces fatigue and
increases productivity by enabling users to scan bar codes
rapidly and effectively.
The Symbol LS3008 scanner includes an Integrated Remote
Scanner Management (RSM) support, which discovers and
upgrades devices from a central remote location,
dramatically reducing management effort and costs. Also
included are multiple onboard interfaces including RS232,
USB and KBW (keyboard wedge), ensuring an easy match for
your current operating system.
The Symbol LS3008 can withstand a drop of 6.5ft (2m) to
concrete at room temperature and also includes a scratch
resistant tempered glass exit window. For more effective use
in manufacturing and hospital settings, the scanner can be
safely wiped down and sanitized. The single board
construction of the Symbol LS3008 eliminates the most common
point of failure, the ribbon cables between multiple circuit
boards.
