The Symbol DS3400 Digital Scanner Series are designed for
fast-paced production environments. Both the Symbol DS3407
scanners and Symbol DS3408 scanners come equipped with charge-coupled
device (CCD) image sensors and omni-directional scanning
allowing them to capture information at a faster and more
efficient rate than other scanners. The Symbol DS3400
Scanner Series
also features the unique two-position smart focus technology
allowing barcodes to be read regardless of orientation or
quality.
The Symbol DS3400 handheld scanner boasts a rugged outer shell,
consisting of scratch-resistant and recessed windows and
IP65 standards protecting against dust and water damage.
Combined with the ability to withstand repeated drops from
heights of up to 6.5’ (2 m), the Symbol DS3407
scanners and Symbol
DS3408 scanners provide efficient, quality performance
without the worry of damage-induced downtime.
Both scanners in the Symbol DS3400 barcode scanner series offer the
technology needed to scan newer bar-code symbologies such as
2D bar codes as well as 1D bar codes. The Symbol DS3407
features USB functionality and faster transfer rates, making
it ideal for newer production environments. Included with
these capabilities is the ability to capture and transfer
images. The Symbol DS3408, in addition to the features of
the Symbol DS3407, includes a multi-interface that allows it
to work with a variety of hosts. The options included with
both of these handheld scanners ensure that you will be able
to find the right DS3400 scanner that is right for your
industry.
