The Symbol LT 1800 LaserTouch Scanner Series is the price performance leader for automatic close-range laser scanning. The LT 1800 has superior optics and an extended working range for reading symbols from contact up to 5" (12.7cm) away - including poor-quality dot matrix, high-density, and wider symbols. With its optimized laser focusing system and advanced ergonomics, the Symbol LT 1800 Scanner Series is the smart choice for retail and commercial applications where close-range scanning, accuracy and user comfort are the keys to better productivity.

The Symbol LT 1800 LaserTouch Scanner Series can be hand-held or placed in specially designed stand for hands-free operation. Both triggerless and triggered versions are available, and you can choose from several different models to meet your specific application requirements. All models feature Symbol's Mylar scan element.

The LT 1800 Series also offers Symbol's exclusive Synapse "smart" cables for connection to many different hosts without the need for a separate interface controller. You simply change the cable and your scanner is compatible with every major retail host computer.
