A variety of special-purpose stands Opticon Stands for Bar Code Scanners for Handheld or Wand Type Scanners can be used with handheld or wand type scanners. In addition to several tabletop models, a unique side-mount stand can be mounted on a vertical surface to store a handheld CCD, leaving the work surface free for other use. There is also a "hands free" stand which allows both hands to be used for retrieving, scanning and moving bar coded items.
