The SST PR232 ultra miniature card reader is 30% smaller
than any other portable magstripe reader in the world.
Use it to read all 3 tracks of standard magstripe cards.
Each transaction is timestamped and stored in
non-volatile memory for easy retrieval later. This
reader has a longer swipe length (compared to other
miniature readers) which minimizes any errors when
swiping cards. It contains a built-in rechargeable
battery which will give up to 30 hours of continuous use
before requiring recharging - that's over 50,000 swipes!
Also, the built-in automatic shutdown (user
programmable) powers down the SST PR232 when it is idle
to conserve battery power even longer. Recharging is
simple using the AC adapter - the battery is fully
charged in 2-3 hours. The SST RS232 interface requires
no special drivers making it simple to connect and use.
Use the SST PR232 to track time and attendance, service
calls, home visits, outdoor events, VIP and customer
loyalty cards, subcontractors and more. It comes with
carry case, neck strap, DB9 serial cable, download
software AC adapter.
