Making an Optional Demo Diskette

Once you have uncompressed your downloaded file, our older DOS products and most of our Windows drivers can be copied over to a single diskette if you so desired.  However, the BarTender for Windows and a few of our drivers are too large to fit on a single diskette.  (These are available from Seagull on diskette, but you cannot convert the downloaded version yourself.)

Once you have uncompressed those downloaded products that are capable of fitting on a single diskette, the contents of the temporary directory that you downloaded it to will be identical to the contents of the real demonstration diskette (if it had been mailed to you by Seagull) except for the original zip or self-extracting EXE file that you downloaded (which you can retain or delete at your preference).  In fact, if you delete this one file (or move it to another directory), the remaining contents of the directory can be copied to a diskette and you will have an exact copy of what you would have received in the mail if we had sent you an actual demonstration diskette.  However, there is no reason why you can't simply leave these components in your temporary directory -- just don't copy it along with the uncompressed files to diskette because they probably won't all fit.
