Options

Memory Expansion
Users can take advantage of the extended memory capability of SATO printers to store TrueType™ fonts internally as well as creating an unlimited library of graphics and label templates to meet the needs of any application. The additional memory also enables users to print labels up to 50" long. (Not available on all models.)



 

Communication Interface Cards
All of the SATO Industrial Printers use Plg-In Interface Modules for maximum flexibility. They can easily be changed in the field to accommodate any of the commonly used host interfaces. Plug-In Interface Modules are available for High Speed Parallel RS232 Serial, RS485 Serial, Universal Serial Bus (USB), 10/100BaseT Ethernet and IBM Coax/Twinax. For SATO Desktop and other printers, external interface adapters are available for USB, 10/100BaseT Ethernet, and IBM Coax/Twinax connections.

Label Dispenser
The Dispenser option presents the printed labels without the liner for ready application. The dispensers for the CLe Series and M-5900 Series printers also have an integrated liner take up that allows efficient and safe rewinding of the backing material from dispensed labels.


Label Cutter
The Cutter option precisely cuts individual label and tag stocks up to 10 mil thick.

Clock/Calendar
The Clock/Calendar option adds an internal clock to the printer, enabling users to print accurate time and date on labels. (not shown)

 

Accessories

Label Rewinder
The Label Rewinder is ideal for batch printing applications and accommodates label rolls up to 5" wide with roll O.D. of up to 8". It can be self-powered with an optional external power module.

 

Wide Web Rewinder with self-adjusting take-up speeds from 1" to 12" per second can hold labels up to 9" wide with roll O.D. of up to 8". Self powered, the rewinder operates independently from the printer.

Internal Rewinder Kit (CL408e/CL412e printers only) gives the printers the ability to rewind up to 2,166 inches of labels internally. (not shown)

 

SATO Thermal Replacement Printheads
The printheads on most of the SATO printers are user-replaceable items. If it becomes damaged for any reason, it can be easily removed and replaced.

 

Printer Cleaning Supplies
Sato printer cleaning supplies includes: cleaning kits for thermal transfer printers, cleaning pads for direct thermal printers, print head cleaning sheet and cleaning fluid.
