About the RACO Streaming
Media Center
How
do I use the RACO Streaming Media Center?
The RACO Streaming Media
Center (or RACO Media Center) allows you to become a more informed
customer with video and audio clips about the products that we
distribute and
their manufacturers. There is no charge to view the audio and video
segments. These clips or segments include information
like: company profiles, product demos, product technical support or
frequently asked questions about the products. What is streaming media?
Streaming media is video or audio (sound) that is "streamed" to you via the
Internet. You watch the video or listen to the sounds as they are being
streamed to your computer. No video or sound files to download or long wait times! RACO
uses the latest in streaming technologies to make
the video or audio run smoothly. No
choppiness, interruptions or waiting on the sound and video to
"catch" up.
How
do I view or hear the video and audio clips?
Whenever you see the
"RACO Media Center" icon on a page, you can view a video
or sound clip with information about the product's manufacturer,
product demos, new features and more. The RACO Media Center icon tells
you the type of movie or audio clip and takes you to the location of the
clip to be viewed when selected or "clicked" on.
What do I need to view
the streaming videos or sound clips?
All you need to view these free videos or sound clips, is
Windows Media Player and a sound card. Windows Media Player
usually comes pre-loaded on any PC using Windows. If your computer does
not have Windows Media Player installed, you may install it on your
computer from Microsoft, free of charge using the link
below.
The videos on this site
requires a certain codec (video compression and decompression), if you
do not have this on your computer it will download automatically in a
matter of seconds and will allow you to view the videos.
