The Organiser II is available with a four-line LCD display, an alphanumeric keyboard and memory configurations. The operating system can be configured to run only dedicated applications supplied on a Datapak. There are two Datapak ports on all machines that can accommodate up to 256k of non-volatile read/write memory or 0.5 MB of Flash memory for data file and program storage. The Organiser has a four line LCD display with variable contrast and an additional communication port enabling the attachment of a wide range of peripherals such as modems, printers, bar code readers, CCD scanners, mag card swipes and more.

Application development takes place on the PC or on the unit using 'OPL' development environments. Communication with PC's is possible through a Comms Link interface via the RS232 serial interface.
