Printronix P5000 Line Matrix Supplies

Ribbon Fabric
All Genuine Printronix Ribbons are optimized for the dynamics of the Printronix print mechanism. Ribbons are constructed from a woven nylon fabric with fused edges to eliminate ribbon fraying and build-up of fiber debris in the print station.

Reversing Mechanism
Genuine Printronix Ribbons use a 14'' long conductive leader to indicate the ends of the ribbon. The leader is heat set for reliability and is optimized for the end-of-ribbon reversing electronics and mechanics of the Printronix printer.

Ribbon Spool
Easy mount ribbon spools are compatible with all Printronix line matrix printer models.

Storage Life
Genuine Printronix Ribbons have a functional shelf life of a minimum of one (1) year when stored in their original, unopened packaging at a temperature below 80° F.

Packaging
Individual Ribbons - Each Genuine Printronix Ribbon is packaged in a clear, sealed bag, which minimizes evaporation and degradation of the ink or ribbon fabric.

Six Pack Packaging - Packaged six (6) ribbons per box with six (6) cleaning towelettes and plastic gloves for “clean hands” ribbon changes.
