  • Supported Systems:
    • Novell NetWare, Microsoft LAN Manager, IBM LAN Server, Microsoft Windows, Unix.
  • Supported Protocols:
    • Netware: IPX, SAP RIP, SPX, and NCP (extended with NDS).
    • LAN Manager/LAN Server/Microsoft Windows: NetBIOS/NetBEUI or TCP/IP.
    • TCP/IP: LPD, FTP, Telnet, Reverse Telnet, PROS, BOOTP, ART, RARP, ICMP, IP TCP, UDP.
    • WWW Browser: HTTP, HTML page with predefined links.
  • Network Management:
    • SNMP-MIB II compliant private enterprise MIB included.
  • Logical Connection:
    • Running simultaneously any combination of the supported protocols.
    • Use of IEEE802.2, IEEE802.3, SNAP, and Ethernet II frame types simultaneously.
  • Network Attachments:
    • 10base T (Twisted Pair) Ethernet. Substained throughput up to 390 Kbs using NetWare or LAN Server LAN Manager.
  • Logical Printer Ports:
    • The logical printer ports can be programmed to perform auto ASCII conversion, string before and after job, string substitution, alternative output and character set conversion.
  • Flash Memory:
    • Support for updating print server sorftware over the network.
