Setting new standards for data input in POS systems.
This small foot print PC was designed with retail needs in mind. Compact enough to be hidden out of the way, it’s packed with all the ports and power you’ll need to run the most sophisticated POS applications on the market today. The Flat POS 2000 has a standard motherboard (100 MHz FSB) with an Ethernet controller and sound onboard, 512 KB 2nd level cache, 3.5" floppy drive, hard disk with 2.1 GB or more and a large number of POS-specific interfaces.
It ships as standard with an AMD processor with at least 400 MHz and 32 MB RAM. As optional extras, CPUs up to 450 MHz, disk-on-chip as well as 768 MB SDRAM (3 x 168 pin SDRAM) are available. Additional options include an integrated CD-ROM or DVD drive. Above all, the PC is characterized by its compact dimensions of approx. 338 mm x 255 mm x 59 mm. A recessed reset switch as well as a power LED are located on the front of this PC. Power is supplied by an external power supply unit. The computer has the following ports:
