Opticon LPN-5627 Series Fixed Position Laser Scanner

The Opticon LPN-5627 laser scanner is ultra small, measuring only 1.7" x 1.2" x 0.8", about the size of a matchbox.

These scanners are compact, microprocessor controlled devices designed to be easily integrated into any new product design. The small size means it will fit into the tightest spaces.

It is fully programmable to set match your specific application.

This Opticon LPN-5627 laser scanner operates at 500 scans per second and can read bar codes from as far away as 12" or more.

Only a front view model is available.

Our standard configuration comes with a 9-pin Male mini DIN connector on a 6 ft. cable. We are happy to customized units with alternate connector types, pinouts, and cable lengths that meet your application.

A rugged steel enclosure protects the optics and electronics from dirt and other environmental hazards as well as enhancing ESD and EMC protection.

An Engineering Test & Evaluation Kit is available containing all the needed items to fully test and integrate the scanner into your design including a test board which allows an engineer to actually see communication signals.

A raster version of this unit is now available.
