RACO INDUSTRIES NAMED ONE OF OHIO’S 10 BEST EMPLOYERS

(Cincinnati, OH – April 25, 2007) The Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Ohio Manufacturer’s Education Council and the Ohio Society of Human Resource Management have named RACO Industries one of Ohio’s 5 best employers. The Best Employers in Ohio awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio. Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Employers in Ohio. “RACO Industries prides itself in extraordinary excellence in all that we do. This applies to servicing our customers, our internal relationships within our work teams, and our relationships with our vendors. This is one of the reasons we are being honored with this prestigious award,” says Rob Adams, RACO Industries CEO.

About the Award Process
The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
