M-S Cash Drawer Printer and Cash Drawer Combination
A single I/O Port is all that is required for this combination. M-S Cash Drawer's electric type cash drawers are available to be interfaced with any of today's popular receipt printers, including Star Micronics, Ithaca Peripherals, Epson, Citizen and all others.
This type of configuration has the software instructing the receipt printer to trigger the drawer. There is no direct connection between the cash drawer and host device.
To trigger the drawer, the software application needs to send the printer's cash drawer trigger code to the printer (e.g. the BEL code for Star Micronics).
