The Bandit desktop thermal bar code printer is a low-cost label printer for point-of-sale use applications. The standard model offers direct thermal operation; a field installable optional mechanism allows for thermal transfer printing.

The Bandit features a small footprint of 8.8" x 10.1" and a total weight of 7lbs. The Bandit may be installed where work space is restricted and can be easily moved from one print station to another. An optional wall mount kit enables the printer to hang from a wall or other vertical surface if counter space is not accessible. For transportable operation, a battery pack is available.

The compact Bandit printer features a unique construction incorporating both metal and plastic components making it the most durable desktop printer available.

The print mechanism is made of metal alloy to ensure stability and consistent print registration, while a durable plastic cover shields the mechanism, media and electronics. A clamshell design allows for easy drop-in media loading and simplified snap-in ribbon loading.

The Windows driver included with every printer will make it possible to create label formats using virtually any Windows based program, including word processing or desktop publishing software. The Windows™ driver utilizes the printers internal fonts to provide greater print speed and provide access to the printer control functions.
