laser scanner now Honeywell MS7120 Orbit laser scanner is an aggressive, omnidirectional presentation laser bar
code scanner that is small in size but big in performance.
The Metrologic MS7120 Orbit scanner is the ideal
presentation scanner for retail, convenience, liquor and
specialty stores, as it is designed for applications where
counter space is at a premium. In addition, the MS7120 Orbit
scanner features a unique contoured shape that allows it to
be picked up and used as a hand-held device when scanning
large bulky items.
The Metrologic MS7120 Orbit scanner is engineered with a
large, easy-to-find sweet spot, increasing the first pass
read rate for maximum productivity. Coupled with a scanning
head that can be tilted vertically a full 30º for added
flexibility when scanning various sized objects, these
features increase the scanning throughput without increasing
Orbit's size.
The Metrologic MS7120 Orbit scanner is equipped with
interchangeable interfaces, three options of which are
available. The first option is RS232, Keyboard Wedge, Stand
Alone Keyboard, and Light Pen. The second option is OCIA and
RS232. The third option includes IBM 46XX and RS232.
Switching from one interface to another is as simple as
connecting the proper communication cable, moving an
internal jumper and reprogramming the scanner.
