LXE PowerScan LR & XLR Industrial Bar Code Scanners

The LXE PowerScan LR scanner has been specifically designed "from the ground up" to meet the demands of tough industrial applications - especially where labels are frequently scanned both up close and at great distances. It will read a standard 13mil UPC label as close as 7 inches (18cm) and a 100mil reflective label 22 feet (671cm) away. With the LXE PowerScan XLR model you can read 15 mil labels as close as 28" (71cm) and 100 mil reflective labels as far away as a whopping 36' (11m).

In any long-range application, you can rely on either the LXE PowerScan LR or XLR for fast accurate bar code reading of both paper and reflective labels. LXE PowerScan's QuadarLogic™ II decoding software enables users to successfully read most dirty, smudge and damaged labels... labels that were previously considered unreadable.

Dependable in the harshest conditions
Even in the harshest working environments, you can depend on the LXE PowerScan LR and XLR to keep on working. Designed to meet the most stringent drop specification in the industry, the scanner will withstand multiple 6.5 foot (2m) drops to concrete. Even dust and moisture won't phase it. In fact, the LXE PowerScan LR and XLR scanners have a rating of IP54, which means it meets or exceeds the sealing rating of every portable host terminal on the market. And don't worry about weather conditions - the PSC PowerScan LR scanner operates in bone-chilling blizzards, down to -22° F (-30° C) and scorching desert heat, up to 122° F (50° C).

Built Rugged To Stand Up To Abuse
Handheld scanners are often dropped and abused, so the LXE PowerScan LR and XLR have been designed with tough impact-resistant material and incorporates protective rubber cushioning at every point of impact. The frictionless scan mechanism, with a limited lifetime warranty, and all internal optical components, are shock mounted to maintain precise alignment under high shock loads. The scan window is made of shatter-proof material with a patented diamond coating to resist scratching. Even the replaceable interface cable is protected with an integrated metal strain relief.

Innovative Host Connectivity
The LXE PowerScan models offer a broad range of communication options using unique multi-interface modules, which allow for connection to most host computer systems. Our AutoSelect™ feature allows you to quickly move between different hosts and applications by simply changing cables. In addition, the LXE PowerScan scanners' low current draw, combined with its low power mode, make it ideal for use with battery operated terminals.
