You can also order a Label Counter with your Inspection Fixture. The PC-1 counts single-across labels, while the PC-3 can count single- or multiple-across labels. Count up or count down. You can preset a batch size to optionally stop the TWIN-CAT-2 automatically when your Preset Count is reached.

LABELMATE Full-Size Label Counters & Counting Packages

The LABELMATE PC-1 Pre-set Label Counter is a popular option on our S-100 and S-200 Label Slitters. Many times, however, users just want to count labels but don’t need to slit them. Now, to save users money, LABELMATE has introduced two Label Counting Stations based on the S-100 and S-200 Slitter chasses but without the Slitter function. The LABELMATE COUNT-100 and COUNT-200 Stations will handle label webs up to 6.5- and 9.5-inches wide respectively. A CAT-2 Rewinder pulls the label web through the counter. The versatile new COUNT-100 and COUNT-200 Stations can be used at the output of a printer, or can be used with an Unwinder and a CAT-2 Rewinder to form a stand-alone off-line label inspection / counting station.

The LABELMATE C-100 and C-200 Counters can count up or count down from a preset count to zero as you wish. If desired, when the pre-set count is reached, the LABELMATE C-100 and C-200 can send a “HALT” signal to the LABELMATE CAT-2 Rewinder, causing it to stop.

The Count Stations have lots of versatility. For example, if you want to count labels that are 3-up on your label web, you can set the Counter scaling factor to three and it will read out the actual number of labels that have passed the sensor. The sensor itself is a state-of-the-art infra-red transmissive device that shines through the label web and detects the gap between successive labels. There is a sensitivity control to adjust for different kinds of label webs. There must be a gap between successive labels for the Counter to work.

The LABELMATE C-100 and C-200 Counters are reasonably priced saving hundreds compared to purchasing a complete Slitting Station with Counter.
