| Step 1 |
Tear off
and discard the 1st ten inches of the SOPB1 labels and liner. |
 |
| Step 2 |
Lift the
label roll holder open (as indicated on pivoting door with thumb
hold). |
| Step 3 |
Slide the
label roll onto the hub of the label roll holder with the labels
feeding in a downward direction from the back of the label roll
(toward the rear of the labeler). Close the pivoting door with thumb
hold. |
| Step 4 |
Turn the
labeler upside-down and open the bottom cover, which reads "lift"
near the back of the bottom cover. |
 |
| Step 5 |
Pull the
platen assembly (black plastic piece with steel roller) up and swing
back towards the labeler handles. |
| Step 6 |
Turn the
labeler right side up and feed the label strip down the label path
as shown until the label strip protrudes from the bottom. It should
come out the bottom in front of the platen. |
 |
| Step 7 |
Turn the
labeler over (upside down) again. Pull the label strip slightly
snug. Continue to hold the label strip while you close or push the
platen back into original position. |
 |
| Step 8 |
Hold the
platen firmly closed and activate the handle 5 to 10 times. The
label strip should advance smoothly and the drive wheel inside the
labeler should punch out the feed notches. Activate the handle until
the holes are punched. |
| Step 9 |
Position
the label strip end so that the notches will line up with exposed
pegs on the drive wheel. |
 |
| Step 10 |
Close
bottom cover & push firmly on the area that reads "push" until it
clicks. |
 |
| Step 11 |
The loading
process should be complete at this time. Test the label feed by
activating the handle a few times until labels are presented
correctly just below the rubber roller at the front of the labeler &
until the liner protrudes from the back of the labeler without
labels attached to it. |
