The PEN*KEY 6110 Provides Rugged PC Power, Performance.

The PEN*KEY 6110 computer is a lightweight powerhouse for mobile applications. Weighing only 28 ounces with battery, the 6110 computer packs a powerful, highly-integrated 100MHz AMD 486*** processor, up to 32MB of RAM and PC card expansion for additional memory cards or hard disk drives. The open architecture of the 6110 hand-held allows access to a wealth of applications on a small, rugged, lightweight unit.

Portable Design Meets The Most Demanding Mobile Computing Needs. The PEN*KEY 6110 provides PC performance in the palm of your hand for your most demanding mobile computing needs. With pre-installed Windows95*, users get the latest Windows applications. With touch or pen input, a tactile backlit keypad, optional integrated scanner, radio and magnetic stripe reader, the 6110 provides optimum flexibility and faster data collection capabilities. These features allow for efficient input of both bar coded and numeric data.

Real-time Communications Options. The PEN*KEY 6110 hand-held computer is perfect for applications demanding real-time communications. The 6110 system offers radio solutions for Wide Area Networking capabilities which maintains communications between the office and front-line workers to optimize business decisions.

Standard IrDA** Interface Simplifies Communications. The PEN*KEY 6110 computer features an integrated, industry standard IrDA interface. The wide communication cone of the infrared interface makes peripheral and peer-to-peer communications convenient, fast and reliable.

Expansion Possibilities: With the PEN*KEY 6110, the expansion capabilities are numerous. These available configurations are also supported through the various docking options:

PC Card Slots: Three(3) Type II or Two(2) Type III PC cards can accommodate future growth easily. These slots can be used for additional data storage, fax/modem cards and other technologies .

Docking Connector: Docking connector for port replicator and dock interface provide serial, keyboard and power connectivity.

Intelligent LiION Battery: Intelligent LiION batteries with built-in charge indicators and on-screen gas gauges indicate how much battery life is remaining at any time.

System Connectivity: With the PEN*KEY 6110, connection to communications and power source is ensured.

Configurable Connector: Integrated 10-pin RJ-45 jack for connection to modem or serial port.

Port Replicator Connector: Supports external adapter to provide industry standard I/O ports. Attaches to base of computer to provide serial, keyboard, RF and power connectivity.

Ethernet 10 Base-T to RS-485 connector kit: Allows multi-unit dock to be connected to ethernet network.

System Accessories: The PEN*KEY 6110 offers a complete selection of docking stations and accessories available to meet all system requirements.

Docking Stations: Multiple docking solutions for factory, office or vehicle environments.

Integrated Magnetic Stripe Reader: Bi-directional reading 3-track card swipe for credit and debit transactions.

Integrated Scanner Module: Laser scanner for bar code recognition up to 24-inches away.

External Keyboard: Connects to vehicle dock or port replicator to extend office computing capabilities to frontline workers.

Desk Stand: Cradle for easy viewing can be used with or without port replicator.

Tethered Pen: Secures to computer to prevent loss.

Carrying Pouch: Black ballistic nylon holster with adjustable belt loop and unidirectional snaps for shoulder strap.

Shoulder Strap: Black nylon webbing, attaches to pouch or computer with unidirectional straps.

Hand Strap: Adjustable black nylon webbing, attaches to either side of computer for secure grip.

Evaluation Kits: A complete system is available for customer evaluation. The basic kit includes a PEN*KEY 6110 computer, 16MB RAM, PC card hard-disk drive, pre-loaded Windows95, CIC Handwriter Recognition****, port replicator with deskstand, complete documentation and a help line phone number.
