Built specifically to meet the demands of retail and light
commercial applications, the Honeywell 3820
provides users freedom of movement to increase productivity
and improve customer satisfaction. Featuring Bluetooth Class
II v1.2 technology, the 3820 reading
capability is 10 meters (33ft) of range and utilizes
adaptive frequency hopping for improved performance in
existing RF environments. Its power is provided by a lithium
ion battery capable of delivering up to 25,000 reads between
charges.
The 3820's superior ergonomics delivers
comfortable operation in traditional bar code reading mode
or hands-free operation. And, its unique "statue-like"
design takes up less space at the POS area.

Disinfectant-ready housing
is optimal for environments where scanner must be cleaned
frequently with harsh chemicals.
The following cleaning solutions have been tested to assure
safe cleaning of your scanner’s disinfectant-ready housing.

Honeywell Adaptus™ Imaging Technology- Exclusive brand of imaging technology provides
best-in-class read range and an unsurpassed ability to read
poor quality bar codes. Both features are well suited to
cordless applications where improved efficiency and
ergonomics are primary goals.
Bluetooth v1.2 Class 2 Radio- developed to reduce
interference in existing RF backbones, including 802.11.
Only v1.2 uses Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) to mitigate
data collisions in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, while
providing a 33ft (10m) working range.
Optional Multi-Bay Battery Charger
Honeywell’s Multi-Bay Battery Charger can fully charge
up to four
lithium-ion batteries, 4.5 hours typical, maximizing
uptime in any
application. Its compact design is well-suited for
environments with
space-constrained areas.
The Multi-Bay Battery Charger features integrated
keyholes that enable
secure desktop or wall mounting. This easy-to-use device
also features
bright LEDs that display the status of each individual
battery, visually
letting users know when each battery is fully charged.
