Small items on the counter can be 'presented' to the Fujitsu SlimScan 1200's large sweet-spot for quick and easy checkout. Alternatively, pick up the SlimScan 1200 to conveniently reach large or bulky items left in the shopping basket. There's no strain on the operator or the customer - it doesn't get any easier.

Another exclusive feature, menu scanning, is perfect for special orders and those items too small to label or too large to carry to the checkout counter. The Fujitsu SlimScan 1200 has a dual-optic design that offers omnidirectional scanning for labeled items and a focused, single-scan line for menu scanning. This versatility speeds up checkout in any retail environment.

Damaged or torn labels can waste time and irritate customers; the Fujitsu SlimScan 1200's label stitching technology reduces the frustration of repeated attempts to read the label. Operators, customers and store management can immediately benefit from this exceptional standard feature.

You don't use the standard UPC bar code? That's not a problem with the Fujitsu SlimScan 1200, which auto-discriminates five different types of barcodes: UPC, EAN, Code 39, Code 128 and Interleaved 2 of 5. Codabar is also supported, rounding out the barcode symbologies supported by the SlimScan 1200.

Quick and easy setup

Setting up the Fujitsu SlimScan 1200 is quick and easy. Using easy-to-follow instructions, the scanner is programmed to perform specific functions in a step-by-step manner. Simply select the functions you need and scan the barcodes in the manual, it's that easy. Each scanner can operate in a consistent manner throughout your organization. Or, if unique capabilities are required at different counters, it is possible to define each scanner to meet the needs of the various checkout stations.

Is your counter space at a premium? The Fujitsu SlimScan 1200 has a super-small footprint, taking up just a few square inches of space. The stand can be positioned on a wall or post to eliminate countertop clutter, and it tilts to effortlessly accommodate different counter heights and meet individual operator preferences. There's no need to worry about a power supply if the POS unit provides power, although a separate power supply is available if needed.
