The Datamax Ex2 has been engineered to achieve a true footprint by incorporating the communications interface and power connection under the printer. This allows for ease of use in locations with limited space.

Commonly-used bar code symbologies are available and do not need to be added.

Datamax Ex2 Options

Peel and Present Mechanism (Factory Installed Only)
An output control device that automatically separates printed labels from the backing material and allows subsequent printing to occur only after the removal of a previously printed label. Minimum label length is 0.75 inches (19 mm). Designed for ease of operation, the Peel and Present Mechanism is automatically detected, configured, and enabled when installed on the printer.

External Media Supply Stand
The external media supply option allows the use of large media supply rolls, up to 8-inches in diameter, on 1" to 3" cores.

FLASH Memory Expansion (Factory Installed Only)
An optional main PCB assembly is available with 4MB Flash memory expansion for International Language Printing Capability (ILPC).
