The Vehicle-mount Apex VM-1 comes RF Ethernet-ready. Simply install one of the supported IEEE802.11b PCMCIA wireless Ethernet cards - including Symbol Spectrum-24 and Cisco/Aironet, among others - and connect the antenna cable to the card. Use the included antenna, or connect your vehicle-mounted antenna to the terminal's antenna mount.

Display Options



Your choice of integral backlit LCD displays:
Monochrome VGA (640 pixels wide by 240 pixels high) backlit LCD is standard
Color VGA 640x240 backlit LCD is optional

Terminals with monochrome screens are particularly well suited for outdoor applications and in direct lighting situations. The monochrome LCD is a reflective technology with very high contrast when viewed in direct light.

Operational temperature range is determined by the display option chosen. Without the display heater, the temperature range for monochrome is -10°C to 50°C; color is 10°C to 40°C.
