Code Corporation Code Reader 1.1 Ultra High Density (UHD)

The Code Corporation Code Reader 1.1 - Ultra High Density (UHD) is a pen-style scanner available with a PS/2 or RS-232 interface. It is the perfect solution for reading and decoding high density two-dimensional (2-D) codes with elements as small as .004 inches (.10 mm) and linear bar codes ranging in width from .5 inch to 1 inch. Unlike traditional bar code scanners, the Code Reader 1.1 has the look and feel of a lightweight writing instrument. The compact unit has no moving parts and is extremely durable. The UHD unit is capable of reading all of the most popular 2-D and linear symbols.

The low-cost Code Corporation Code Reader 1.1 - UHD is an innovative, hand-held data capture device for reading and decoding high density two-dimensional (2-D) codes with elements as small as .004 inches (.10 mm) and linear bar codes ranging in width from .5 inch to 1 inch. By utilizing new imaging technology, the Code Corporation has developed readers that outperform comparable readers, but are half the cost. The Code Reader 1.1 - UHD working range varies from .5 inches to 2 inches and can be configured for keyboard wedge or RS-232 outputs. Codes are read accurately, quickly, and omni-directionally. The reader may be set to scan in a continuous or manual mode. Setup, installation, and use of a reader is quick and intuitive and adding functionality and upgrading remotely is possible.
