802.11b Wireless Compatible
The Denso BHT-200 series is compatible with 802.11b standards. As part of your network infrastructure, the Denso BHT-200 series can run applications in real time. It handles emulation, device management, and wireless network printing. It is also compatible to most 802.11b/g access points

Linear and Area Imaging
The Shark is available with an aggressive area imager capable of 640 x 480 imaging. Advanced Scanning Technology® and our exclusive Laser/Imaging hybrid make barcode reading fast and reliable. No moving parts in the scan engine means no mechanical failures for years of service. Also, special data checking techniques make our barcode scanners the most accurate readers in the world.

Vibration Alerts
Scan confirmations in rugged environments have always been difficult to see and hear. All DENSO handheld computers are equipped with DENSO's own programmable vibration indicator to alert the operator.

Lightweight Ergonomics
Undoubtedly the most balanced handheld in the market, its small form fits perfectly in the hands of the average user. The Shark is available with a gun grip for intensive barcode scanning functions.

Multiple Keypad Configurations
The Denso BHT-200 series is available with a 10key and 32key configuration. This is ideal for retail, healthcare, and warehousing applications that need alpha and alphanumeric keypad configurations

Outstanding Durability
The Shark is the strongest and lightest handheld in its class. It is certified for drops up to 5 feet and only weighs an astonishing 380g. It is sealed against water and dust to IP54 international standard. The rugged construction and convenient size of the Shark are ideal for intense environments such as manufacturing, transportation and warehousing, yet elegant enough for retail conditions.

Outstanding Battery Life
Some of the models in the BHT-200 Series contains an exclusive second battery compartment enclosed in the gun grip that doubles the operation time, translating into less battery changes in the field. Typical operation time with the 2nd battery is 14 to 16 hours. All configurations take advantage of DENSO's Smart Processor Technology, which downshifts CPU speed to conserves energy.

Multiple Communication
Communication options to PC include USB, Serial, IRDA 1.2, wireless sync, as well as, Serial and USB cradles.

Memory
The Denso BHT-200 series features 128MB RAM and 64MB ROM (32MB Flash user area available) offering plenty of storage for all your applications

Wireless security
The Denso BHT-200 series supports WEP and WPA wireless security. Other features include 802.11x authentication

Bluetooth®
The Denso BHT-200 series supports Bluetooth® for wireless connections to multiple devices such as mag stripe readers and portable printers

Keyboard Wedge Software (KbifCE)
The kbifCE is a keyboard interface software built into the device. Using the kbifCE users can scan barcodes and/or input data without programming software for the device.

Compact flash slot
A Compact Flash expansion slot is located under the battery plate and supports flash memory up to 2GB.
