The A793 thermal receipt station is built on the foundation of a durable, thermal printhead that is guaranteed for 36 million lines without service; the most reliable in the industry. A guarantee that's backed by extensive testing-over 3,000 miles of paper have been run in test labs! Compared to the commonly-used thin film printheads, the Axiohm A793 has a thick film printhead with precision control technology providing superior print element life and abrasion resistance. There is no preventative maintenance required. The A793's optional "space-age" ceramic cutter is another one of Axiohm's industry firsts.
