Compact Point-of-Sale, Banking and Data Logging Printer
The Axiohm A470 series dot matrix printers are designed with today's need for speed, versatility and small footprint in mind. Ideal for any printing application requiring customer receipts or printing on inserted forms, these printers are available with journal take-up and validation capability, or with an integral paper cutter. The Axiohm A470 family prints four lines per second at any pitch, supports 1.2 or 3 ply roll paper and offers up to 17 lines of independent or concurrent multipart form validation. An intelligent power supply meet worldwide voltage and frequency requirements. The Axiohm A470 Series is an enhancement of a widely installed and field proven design. It offers a broad range of rugged, high performance printing solutions and unparalleled flexibility at a truly low price.

Applications
The Axiohm A470 series printers offer a solution to any transaction printing requirement. Cash drawer outputs, flash memory and ease of use make these printers the perfect choice for any transaction application requiring a receipt, an audit trail, printing on a form, such as a check, voucher, charge form or any combination of transaction requirements. The adjustable form stop and user controlled clamp delay lend themselves perfectly to customizing standard printers to meet specific application requirements. The intelligent power supply and selectable fonts are ideal for all internal applications.

Complete Family
Eight different models to handle receipt, journal and validation transactions.

Simplicity
Easy paper loading and snap-in ribbon cartridge insure fast, trouble free replenishment. Printer set up is through case bottom and requires not tools for access.

Versatility
Both RS232 and parallel interfaces are standard. Intelligent power supply automatically compensates for voltage and frequency changes. Flash Memory allows download of new software from the host.

Flexibility
Two cash drawer outputs with drawer open status are standard. Form stop is user adjustable and form-in delay is under host control. Standard commands for form eject and buffer clear streamline host commands and transactions.
