AML M7170 Terminal
The AML M7170 Vehicle Mount Terminal supports real-time
data collection applications in the factory, on the
loading dock, and in the warehouse yard. The AML M7170
terminal mounts directly to industrial vehicles such as forklift
trucks and enables real-time data transfer between
mobile operators and back-end host applications. Built
to last with heavy-duty steel construction and an IP54
environmental rating, the M7170 is ideally suited
for real-time receiving, put-away, picking and shipping
applications in rugged industrial environments.
Flexible Application Development
The AML M7170 Vehicle Mount Terminal integrates easily and
quickly into a wide range of computing environments.
Each M7170 Vehicle Mount Terminal ships pre-loaded with
VT100/VT220 terminal emulation, a native TN5250 client,
FTP server, HTTP server, TELNET client, Web Browser, WEP
and WPA/WPA2 advanced encryption and authentication
capabilities (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, and
PSK-TKIP). Options are also available for 3270 and 5250
applications requiring screen shaping and/or keyboard
mapping. And as a member of the AML M7100 family of
wireless terminals, the AML M7170 VMT rapidly integrates
into wireless data collection applications where AML
M7100 handheld terminals and AML M7140 programmable
stationary terminals are deployed.
