The AML M8050 computer combines a compact form factor with powerful
features to efficiently handle data collection and real-time
transactions in your business. More durable than a standard
commercial PDA device, the AML M8050 PDA is built to withstand the
rigors of everyday enterprise use. Sealed to IP54
specifications and designed to withstand multiple drops to
concrete, the AML M8050 delivers reliable performance and
long-term dependability for hospitality, retail, and
healthcare data collection applications.
Purposely built for ease of use, high-value
functionality, and power manageability, the M8050 is
equipped with Windows CE 6.0, a QVGA color graphic display
with touch screen, WLAN 802.11b/g radio, a backlit 18-key
keypad with trackball, a built-in speaker, and optional
Bluetooth WPAN connectivity. Full-shift productivity is
ensured by the AML M8050’s efficient power management
capabilities that easily support all-day operation without
recharging. Priced affordably but rich with features, the
AML M8050 delivers all the critical functionality you need
to efficiently scan, transfer, and access real-time
information in your business operations.
Designed for the demands of today's mobile workforce, the
new AML M8050 is a user-friendly, full-featured
handheld computer that delivers outstanding functional value
in a compact, lightweight package. Featuring a high capacity
5,200 mAh battery, users can easily get more than 8 hours of
operation before recharging, even with
intensive barcode scanning and radio activity.
Unique features of the AML M8050 include the integration of a
magnetic stripe reader (MSR), which has a distinct advantage over competitive units that offer "plug-in" or
"bolt-on" accessories when it comes to ruggedness and
survivability. Another feature is a trackball pointing
device which compliments the stylus and touchscreen, but
also allows one-handed "point-and-click" operations when using
the stylus may be cumbersome or undesirable.
The AML M8050 comes equipped with a fast, yet low-power,
400MHz microprocessor and 128MB of RAM and 128MB Flash
ROM…more than enough memory to handle any mobile
application. Additional flash memory can be
installed via the user-accessible micro SD slot.
Available in Batch, WiFi, and WiFi+Bluetooth
configurations, the M8050 can be tailored for any
application.
Optional 1D laser or enhanced 2D imaging barcode scanning
technology turns the AML M8050 into a complete data
collection solution.

ACC-8035 Four Position Terminal Charger
The Four Position Terminal Charger for the AML M8050
series of handheld computers is now available. The
AML ACC-8035 will simultaneously charge four (4)
M8050 terminals. Typical charge time is 4 hours. The
ACC-8035 is enclosed in a rugged, stainless steel
housing and comes complete with external power-pack
and line cord. |

ACC-8025 Charging Cradle
The AML M8050 is charged using the ACC-8025 charging
cradle, which can also charge a spare battery at the
same time. The AML ACC-8025 comes with a wall
mounted, AC/DC power supply; line cord is required.

but a AML TracerPlus™ mobile client is required for each
AML M8050 onto which the application is to be deployed.
The combination of TracerPlus™ Desktop and
