Replaces the retired
AML 7100
Powerful performance for
everyday wireless data collection
Built tough yet optimized for cost-effectiveness, the
AML M71V2 wireless hand-held terminal is an ideal
solution for real-time, information-intensive data
capture in retail, distribution, warehousing and
manufacturing applications. Featuring the same form, fit
and function as the popular AML M7100 hand-held
terminal, the M71V2 drops easily into existing wireless
applications where M7100 terminals are deployed with
minimal impact to the end user.
The AMl M71V2 is richly configured with power-packed
features to optimize operational efficiency and
productivity -- ensuring the rapid processing of mission
critical data, even in the most demanding applications.
Powered by the fast Samsung® S3C2410 ARM9 processor, the
AL M71V2 is equipped with 32MB of built-in RAM and 16MB
Flash ROM for ample storage capacity. Its internal radio
supports IEEE 802.11b wireless local area network (WLAN)
connectivity for real-time, high-rate data transfer
between wireless operators and host applications.
Extended operation is ensured by the M71V2’s enhanced
power management, which supports eight-hour work shifts
without recharging.
Each AML M71V2 wireless terminal ships fully loaded with
VT100/VT220 terminal
emulation, TN5250 client, FTP server, HTTP server,
TELNET server, Web Browser, WEP and WPA/WPA2 advanced
encryption and authentication capabilities. The AML M71V2’s
computing flexibility simplifies the application
development process, making the terminal quick and easy
to implement – maximizing your return on investment.
Designed for comfort
and ease of use
The AML M71V2 wireless hand-held terminal provides
comfort and ease of use for everyday, scan-intensive
data capture applications. Its lightweight, contoured
design supports comfortable, one-handed operation over
extended periods of use. The graphical 160 x 160 backlit
LCD with multi-font capability is easy to read, even in
dimly lit environments. The spacious LCD screen
accommodates the display of large
amounts of information, minimizing the need for screen
scrolling.
Designed for operational flexibility across a wide range
of data collection
applications, the AML M71V2 features an easy-to-use 55-key
alphanumeric keypad,
multiple integrated scanner options (both 1D and 2D),
RS-232 and infrared
communication ports. Accessories include single and four
position
communications/charging cradles, a four position battery
charger,
