The AML KDT750 is a user-friendly, full-featured price
verification system that delivers outstanding functional value in a
compact, space-saving footprint.
Featuring simple touch screen
navigation and a 5.6" full VGA color display, the AML KDT 750 allows
retailers to deploy applications that engage customers and enhance
the shopping experience - right at the point of purchase.
Equipped primarily to function as a price checker, the AML KDT750
Price Verification System comes standard with an on-board price
verification program. Product documentation provides sample source
code for the server-side software required to interface to the
KDT750, as well as perform the lookups necessary to retrieve price
and descriptive information from the user's database. Additional
standard features include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), user-definable
keys, and multiple USB and serial ports. Optional 802.11b/g/n WLAN
radio technology supports wireless network connectivity.

Price Verification Systems, or "Price Checkers", are no
longer a luxury just for the large retailers with big IT
budgets. AML's KDT750 Price Verification System now features
a "Stand Alone" mode that enables it to operate without
being connected to a server via a local area network. Users
can simply load their price and description information
directly onto the device and the KDT750 operates
independently.
Deploying an in-store price checker has never been
easier! Independent stores, or even regional chains, can now
enjoy the advantages of improved customer service, without
the substantial investment required for network-based
systems.
The KDT750 also has a "slide show" mode. Users can load
up to 16 pictures or images that will be used in a slide
show while the KDT750 is in between price checks. Use these
images to promote complementary products or current

Customers can use the AML KDT750 to check prices by simply
scanning product bar code labels – freeing store employees for more
critical, bottom line activities. Retailers can easily develop and
deploy additional point of purchase (POP) screens and applications,
utilizing the built-in software tools provided with the KDT750.

The AML KDT750 price verifier features a full range of functional accessories
and mounting options that allow users to configure the device to fit
specific application requirements. Options include magnetic stripe
reader, HID proximity card reader, internal UPS backup battery, and
1D or omni-directional 2D bar code reader. The KDT750 also mounts
easily to walls, poles, shelves and tabletops with optional flush,
angled, side or adjustable mounting hardware and accessories.

1D laser scan engine: NEW!
The 1D laser scan engine provides higher performance than
the 1D CCD scan engine in terms of depth of field and a
faster read rate. It is priced mid-point between the CCD and

External
Omni-directional Laser: NEW!
The external omni-directional laser allows users to present
a barcode in any orientation for scanning. The laser also
has a faster read rate and a more forgiving depth of field
than the 2D imager. Note that this option does require the
user to mount the laser assembly onto the KDT unit, and
connect a cable into a USB port. A full part number listing
